There are times that I just deal with the fact that my cats are, at times, the kings and queens of 'short attention span theater'. If they don't want to do something, they just don't remember it. Kinda like people - only smaller and with a lot more fur. And don't forget the whole tail thing.
Anyway - this a vid about two young English guys who raised a lion cub in their home, but as it grew up, they were told they had to get rid of it. So they took it to Africa to a sanctuary so it could grow up in the wild. A year or so later they went back to check on it and were told the animal would never remember who they were.
Not something I advocate folks to do - go out an dance with a full grown African Lioness. But God and Goddess, can't you just see how she still knows them and cares about them? All the hugging and cheek rubbing behaviors you see when your domestic cats are being affectionate.
And ain't she beautiful?
