Okay, a total change of mood with my other favorite holiday song. FWIW it really doesn't snow anywhere near this much in the lower areas of W. Washington especially since the areas being shown are in/around the City of Gig Harbor which is at sea level on the Puget Sound right on the water.

According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to Mid-December. Female reindeer retain their antlers until after they give birth in the spring.

Therefore, according to every historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, every single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.

We should've known. Only a coordinated team of women would be able to drag a fat man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.


I'm just sayin'...

Amid all the parties, the parades, the bar-b-ques, and the long, three day weekend, please don't lose site of the reason for it all.



Take a moment. Thank a vet. Say a prayer for those who aren't here to thank. And take a moment of silence for those whom we may never know.
