teenycom. Artists take commissions there for anywhere from $1.00 to $10.00 for icons, sketches, digital art and such. This is where I met this most talented person and several others who have done great work for me.
I can't pimp this community enough.

This was a 'speed paint' commission done by Kierstal over onteenycom. 'Speed Paint' means this was done in only an hour or so. Considering it takes me about that long to figure out a pencil and ruler [I'm not this type of artistic], it just fascinates me and blows me away. All I was able to give the artist was a couple of photos of Abyssinian cats and a description of how I'd like the hair and eyes. They rest is all artistic license.
I love her.

Nope - I wish. I still can't draw a line of any kind without a ruler. They both are commission pieces. I've evidently botched unsolvedsuicide's LJ name [I'll check that out and fix it] and the icon sketch was done by sakuranym_kit. I always try to credit the artist, but sometimes I mess it up doing it.
