Just finished a entry by a blogger who goes by the handle 'Too Old To Work, Too Young to Retire'. I don't always agree with him, but I usually come away from reading his entries with something to think about.
Today is no exception. To quote the first part of today's post:
I've commented in the past that FEMA is so inefficient that the government should abolish it and sign a contract with Wal-Mart for disaster relief. That always gets a big laugh, but I'm sort of serious when I suggest it.
Steven Horwitz, PHD might be as funny as I am, but I'm not sure that he's kidding in this article entitled Making Hurricane Response Effective
FEMA vs Wal-Mart. Not a hard choice in my book. But go read the article and make your own decision.
