No matter Who in the Universe you look to...
Blessed Holiday Magic at this turning of the year.
Light to Dark and into Light again. Blessed Be each and everyone.

Nope - I wish. I still can't draw a line of any kind without a ruler. They both are commission pieces. I've evidently botched
unsolvedsuicide's LJ name [I'll check that out and fix it] and the icon sketch was done by
sakuranym_kit. I always try to credit the artist, but sometimes I mess it up doing it.

A nice time-wasting meme
Liberated from
rory_elizabeth who lifted it from

FOUR PLACES I HAVE LIVED:
1. Enumclaw, WA [born in Seattle, grew up and graduated from there]
2, 3, 4. Seattle/Tacoma Metroplex, Washington State [that's easier than saying each individual place in that area]
Anywhere else was courtesy of the US Army and I can't really count that as having 'lived' there. But it takes into account places like Germany, Saudi Arabia, and a heck of a lot of the US [California, Colorado, Georgia, Alabama, Texas, etc…]
FOUR JOBS I HAVE HAD IN MY LIFE:
1. Staff Respiratory Therapist in hospitals everywhere from 32 beds up to major Metropolitan trauma centers [1970 – 1991-ish]
2. Computer Intern for Water Resources, Dept. of Ecology, State of Washington [a varied lot of PC, mini and main frame stuff for about 6 months until I was snagged me for Desert Shield/Desert Storm]
3. Critical Care LPN in a major trauma center [because WA state doesn’t recognize the RN degree I earned while in the Army. Long story. But what made it frustrating was I did the same thing as the two dept. RN’s, I just got paid $20 dollars less. :{ ]
4. Wheelchair repair tech - a VA work project that paid squat, but it got me out of the house and it helped other vets so that was good.]
FOUR MOVIES I'VE WATCHED MORE THAN 5 TIMES:
1. Independence Day
2. Finding Nemo
3. Twister
4. Apollo 13
FOUR PLACES I HAVE BEEN
1. Sydney, Australia [visiting fan friends]
2. Kibbutz Kfar Menahem, Israel [on a one month excavation at the Tell es-Safi/Gath Archaeological Expedition]
3. Huntsville, Alabama [for Adult Space Camp]
4. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia [thanks to Unka Sugar and the Great Winter Expedition in the Sandbox in 1990-1991]
FOUR PEOPLE WHO EMAIL ME REGULARLY:
1. Mom [Mom-in-Law, actually, but it’s cool]
2. Doc and Tams
3. husband Jeff
4. Haak
FOUR OF MY FAVORITE FOODS:
1. sushi & oshimi [pretty much all kinds]
2. fresh made flatbread with sheep cheese, olive oil, various spices and pine nuts [something we’d get once or twice a week at the dig in Israel made by someone of the workers on a home made rebar grate over a wood fire]
3. good, oven baked mac & cheese
4. can salt water taffy be a food?
FOUR TV SHOWS I WATCH:
1. Stargate Atlantis [which is going away, the SWINE!]
2. Dr. Who [the new one, not the older one]
3. Sanctuary
4. pretty much anything that pops up on the Discovery Channel
FOUR PLACES I WOULD RATHER BE RIGHT NOW:
1. Sydney, Australia [it’s summer there!]
2. settling into a new place with my husband
3. in Denver with friends
4. together with friends from the old SekhParty Command. I miss them all.
THINGS I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR:
1. Settling into a new place with my husband [I’m single minded about this]
2. maybe going back to school for something
3. A new president
4. Getting some bills paid off [Please!]
